Shaggy Dog Stories

Shaggy dog stories is a simple and fun word game for families and friends.

The object of the game is for one member of the group to take 3 random words and hide them in a story that begins with the phrase "I took my shaggy dog for a walk one day when..." lasting 45 seconds.

It is then up to the rest of the group to confer and choose the 3 words that they believe were given to the story teller. Points are awarded to the story teller for each word that goes unguessed.

This game is perfect for long car journeys and picnics, as well as rainy days in. It is fun and can dramatically improve childrens vocabulary.
